Your Wedding Day
We need to discuss your styles, your likes, your family and friends. After all my years of DJ experience, I can help you in planning and in setting up an event that will flow smoothly and keep focus on the two of you, while keeping the energy level positive and fun.
Together, we will go over every event (i.e father daughter dance, first dance, etc) and how you want it handled. Then, we’ll talk about the order of those events and go over options for each. Based on our conversations, the song you choose for each event will be played for that event which will be handled in the manner we have discussed. During our conversations, we will share how different approaches will affect the event.
As a result, your event will be tailored to the styles you choose with special moments infused into the night!

Over the years, while I was talking to brides and grooms some words and phrases have come up most often.. They mentioned wanting fun events that are “unique” and “memorable”. DJ Claims Versus Reality
We want you to remember a very important thing. The DJ you hire will be your representative to your guests and will be controlling the microphone and the flow of your event. Doing that properly and with skill is far more important than what most DJ’s hype on their websites!
In the event you have been reading a bunch of DJ sites, let me address a couple of issues. Most importantly, if a DJ’s “major” claim is having many tens of thousands of songs, the best equipment and the best lights, they are not focused on properly staging and coordinating your event. This means they are simply selling a “jukebox service”. For that reason, our DJ’s are trained and certified entertainers that will provide you a great time and great music. Keeping all of this in mind, you should talk to any DJ you are considering about your event and how they will run it to make sure you’re comfortable with their style. I hope this explains how this is much more important than equipment and number of songs!
Let me explain the songs statement even further. Popular songs average about 4 minutes. This means if the DJ is playing non-stop, they’ll play about 15 to 20 songs an hour or 75-100 songs in a 5 hour event. I would state that reading your crowd and knowing WHAT songs to play and WHEN is much more important. That DJ with 100,000 songs has about 99,900 songs you do not need for your event and about 99,000 that probably never get played.
Most DJ gear is interchangeable. Of course, we use some of the best brands and provide a great lighting show. Almost every DJ does this, though many of the less expensive DJ’s are new and using lower level equipment. In my opinion, a DJ with poor entertainment and music programming skills is going to fall flat even with the best equipment. In conclusion, you should hire a professional with a proven track record instead of taking a chance with the most important day of your life.

In 1995, my wife and I moved to AZ and we built a very successful DJ company there which still exists and wins awards every year, but now I’ve returned to my friends and family here in Central PA and we have rebuilt our company and achieved 7 successful years.
